What everybody should know

If you buy a new car it can really hurt your wallet. It is really unwise to buy a car with a loan as so many young people do. I can give tips to people who want to avoid this.
The first thing I want you to know
My first tip is to buy an old car, never a new one. You lose a couple thousand dollars by driving the car off the lot. This means you will save a lot of money buying a car that is a couple years old. For the first car it would seem inexpensive and practical to buy an old one.
What you need second
The next tip I’m offering is that you buy a car that is older for your first car. It is probable that your first car won’t be in your possession very long. The idea is that you buy a car you don’t plan on keeping forever. Buying a car from the nineties rather than from this year will save you a load of money. If you allow the first car you buy to have some things that don’t work then the pride will drop. Hopefully the car will make it through your first job or college.
This is My Third Suggestion
Next, you need to pay for your car in cash. When you show them your cash that you are paying with they will want to give you a deal. This will work with anything and not just when you’re buying cars. You are more likely to get a cheaper price when you have cash in your hands. Paying with cash will mean you need to get a receipt or contract as well. Showing that you have made an agreement or purchase will protect you in the long run.
The fourth thing to know
My nest suggestion is that instead of taking out a loan you save up for the car. Don’t take out more of a loan than you need to for your car. This will make you appreciate the car more and save you a lot of money. It might seem impossible to pay back the interest from a car loan. Try to stay away from taking out too many loans for your first car.
The fifth thing I suggest
Make sure you take really good care of the car you just spent a bunch of money on. To help your car run long you will need to treat it right. Changing the oil should be done often along with checking the engine. Avoid going on a bunch of long road trips. Remember to keep the car clean on the outside of it and the inside of it. This will all help you have a nice and inexpensive first car that will run well.
